A rare matched pair of large-scale utilitarian storage vessels from the Jiangsu region. These jars are defined by their rich, monochromatic "liver-brown" glaze and heavy stoneware body. Excellent patina with age-appropriate character. Excellent condition.
Circa late Qing Dynasty (approx. 1880–1911) to early Republic Period (1912–1930s).
