Late Qing dynasty northern Chinese elm bench with a thick plank seat and deeply carved scrolling apron. The sculptural end supports and stretcher base give the piece weight and presence while maintaining a refined silhouette.

The surface shows age and use, with old patch repairs and natural wear consistent with 19th-century construction. Strong, architectural, and beautifully patinated.
