Tamegroute pottery, traditionally known for its green glaze, can also be found in an unglazed white bisque finish. This style emphasizes the natural texture of the clay, offering a raw, earthy aesthetic. Handcrafted using traditional methods, these pieces are shaped by hand and fired without glaze, allowing the clay's inherent qualities to shine through. The unglazed finish is a result of firing the pottery at high temperatures, a technique passed down through generations in the Tamegroute region of southern Morocco.
