An early 20th-century Chinese tea table from Jiangsu Province. This piece features a solid elm wood construction with a traditional fretwork base, often referred to as a cracked ice or geometric lattice design. These stands were traditionally used in pairs for displaying seasonal flowers, scholar’s rocks, or serving tea.
